The 5110 is a budget version
of the more heavily featured 5120 batching console and is ideal for
batching applications that don’t need full operator access to manual
over-rides. This is a very simple and cost effective means of
installing a stand-alone automatic batching system without
sacrificing speed or accuracy.
A 5100 with Intelligent
Batching Software is panel mounted in the steel box, along with a
din-rail mount VAC to DC power supply, emergency stop button, a 0215
4input/4 output relay module & 3 assignable operator buttons
The 5100 stores each of the
available 6 materials and 99 stored recipes using six alpha/numeric
characters each to allow the operator to view and select items by
their assigned codes; i.e. when entering a target for cement, the
5100 displays “CEMENT” as the identifier for the feeder; not
material 1 or SP1 to avoid operator confusion.
Full automatic batching can
run a single batch or continuous cycles without operator
intervention. The operator can select a stored recipe and then apply
a increase/decrease batch size quickly and easily. In the concrete
industry the operator re-calls the required design (1 cubic metre of
40MPA concrete), then enters the number of cubic metres required
(3.7) then starts the batch.
