Weighing began to service the Toowoomba region in 1985 and grew to become A1 Weighing Equipment Pty Ltd servicing Southern Queensland and Northern New South Wales, supplying product throughout Australia and Overseas. 

Daryl Dawes, a founding member of A1 Weighing Equipment Pty Ltd is still with the company.

Keith Miller joined the company in 2003 after beginning his trade in 1977 with Avery Scales in Toowoomba in followed by ten years in Cairns and then ten years in Rockhampton giving him experience with a vast range of weighing equipment.
